Providence-bound Center Bilal Dixon has been chosen as North Jersey Player of the Year by the Bergen Record !
Click here for the exclusive story!
The Boys finished the year ranked #4 in North Jersey by the Bergen Record, and #11 in the State by the Star-Ledger.
Additionally, the Boys were chosen as
Group 1 / Group 2 Team of the Year.
This has been best QP team in over 25 years, and the boys and coaching staff should be congratulated on a job well done.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Al'Don Muhammad scored 15 points against Englewood in the regular season finale to reach the 1000 point mark for his high school career.
Al'Don played his freshman and sophomore years at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Newark, where he was a primary scorer for their team. In fact, as a sophomore, he scored 32 against us! When Good Counsel closed after that year, Al made the wise choice to come to QP.
His role has changed a bit, as he has become known as one of the best defenders in North Jersey. He has also adapted his offensive game to be more of a passer and set-up guy for our inside players. This has helped him develop into a good all-around player who will have much success at the college ranks.
We congratulate Al'Don on a great achievement, and are very grateful he came to QP to complete his high school education!
-------------------------------------------------

It was also Senior Night, as Bilal Dixon, Al'Don Muhammad, Brendan Sim, Billy O'Sullivan and Zaire Harris played their last Regular Season home game. We thank the Boys for all their hard work, and their families for their support over the years.
But . . . we're not done yet.
We have a State Championship to play for!!!!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Congratulations to Bilal Dixon and Javae Gilchrist for being chosen to the Bergen County Jamboree All-Tournament Team

BT 1000 !
Brittany Turner scored her 1000th point tonight with 2:22 left in the the 4th quarter to close the gap to one against St. Anthony's after the trailed by as many as nine points. But the girls could get no closer as they drop a close one 38-33 on Senior Night.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We also need to thank the announcers and crew of QP Radio:
Mr. Heinzmann, Mr. McMahon, Mr. Berrios, Coach Tom DeCara and all who worked behind the scenes to broadcast the games. You brought the game into the homes of many people who couldn't get out to the Gym, and we appreciate all your hard work.
